Lifetyme Seed Company was started January 4th, 1947 by Pete Behm and Albert Hagemann in Peoria, Illinois. Since that day, Lifetyme Seed Company has been rooted in the Peoria area and we are proud of our Midwestern family values.

In 2018, Lifetyme Seed Company became part of Foster’s, Inc. A family owned, premier wholesaler of garden, lawn, and landscape supplies in the Upper Midwest, Foster’s was a perfect fit for the Lifetyme brand.

We are known for our seed quality, attention to service, innovation in grass seed technology, and our timeless Lifetyme brand cotton retail bags.
